Yo, yo, yo...

Hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful spring time weather. The month of April
was a monumental month for Jam Samich. We started out with a rockin' show with new
friends Inhail and Bear Lake at the Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI. Thanks to all of you for
commin' out and showing us your support.

On Sunday April 20th, Mike Joe and myself were invited by our good friend Skeeto
Valdez (Brothers Groove, Trey Anastasio with 70 Volt Parade, King Konga) to perform a
song at the John Sinclair 420 Party at the Jazz Loft in Detroit, MI.  This night really
turned out to be a blast! We got up and hit the stage around 1:30am just after Michigan
blues great Larry McCray and performed our version of "Good Morning Little School
Girl" with Chris Codish (Brothers Groove) on keys. The performance was well received
and Joe was even complimented on his guitar playing by Mr. McCray himself!

On April 25th, 2008 Mike and I made are way back down to Detroit for the 2008 Detroit
Music Awards. We were honored that our debut cd "Inflatable Gorilla Disaster" was
nominated for "Outstanding URBAN/FUNK/HIP-HOP RECORDING". Well, we didn't win
the award this year but it was a pleasure to part of such an event. Congrats to all of the
Detroit Musicians that did take home an award, we are surrounded by talent in this
great city.

Now, on with the show...

El Nibble Nook (Spanish for THE Nibble Nook)

This Saturday May 10th, 2008 we make our way out to El Nibble Nook in West
Bloomfield, MI. We are really excited for this show. The Nook is one of our old stomping
grounds for great food and drink in Oakland County. Management has decided to give
live music a shot on Saturdays and we want to show them that it will pay off. Word has it
that this show is going to be packed! It's been a while since we have made are way out
to this area. So get there early if you want a seat.

Reasons to come out to El Nibble Nook:

- Jam Samich all night long starting at 10pm.

- FREE Appetizers! (Chips & Salsa, Mini Tacos and Mini burritos.)

A night in the ZOO!

On Friday May 30th, 2008 we head out to Papa Petes in Kalamazoo, MI. This time
doing a co-bill with our friends Marble Garden. It's been a while since we have been in
Kalamazoo and we hope that you can make it out for a killer night of music.
