Hey friends,
Happy New Year to each and everyone of you! We finished off 2007 with a blowout show at the Magic Stick in Detroit, MI opening for
Ohio's very own Ekoostik Hookah. The show was packed and the floor was a shakin'. Thanks to everyone for making 2007 such a
memorable year. During the month of January we decided to take some time off to write new material, learn some new covers and
tighten things up. I can say that 2008 is going to be a great year so get ready to have some fun. Expect us to stretch out our legs and
make it a little deeper into the midwest. Some of the states that you can expect to see us in are Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. If you have
friends or family in these states, I hope that you give them shout and ask them to keep there eyes and ears open for Jam Samich.
Man, let me tell ya', Southeastern Michigan has been FREEZING cold this winter. The temperature has been in the single digits and the
snow has been falling hard and wet. Last Sunday February 10th, we were given the opportunity to perform at the 2008 Detroit Winter
Blast. With the wind chill factor, the temperature was a chilling -25 degrees with 50mph winds whipping through downtown Detroit,
chilling us to the bone. We performed for 1hr. and 30min for a smaller, more intimate group of people. We debuted a complete version
of our new song "Something in the Water". It was fun but very cold. We did our thing, packed up and warmed our selves up as fast as
we could. You've got to love outdoor gigs in February!
Before I go any further, we must take a minute and give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has attended our shows and shown us
support throughout the last couple of years. We are very grateful for your continued support!
On Friday February 15th 2008 we are bringing back home with a show in Pontiac, MI. Opening the show for our good friends
The Macpodz from Ann Arbor at The Crofoot in the Pike Room. This show is going to be of the hook. We all ready have a ton of folks
confirmed to partake in this event. Don't be left behind! The Macpodz have been tearing up the scene known for their HUGE dance
parties. If you have not seen them, then you have been missing out! Come on out to the show.
