JAM SAMICH NEWSletter Volume 7
Hello friends,
To start things off, we would like to thank all of our fans/friends/family that attended Pumpkin Jam 2007 at the Magic Bag in Ferndale,
MI. The night was a complete success because of you. I hope that you all had as good of a time as we did. We couldn't of done it
without you. Your continued support really means a lot to us. Great job on the costumes guys, you could see the effort that you all put
into them.
So, after a little time off to prepare for the big show at The Magic Bag we are excited to get back on the road. Making stops at some of
our favorite Michigan bars and venues and even stepping into Ohio.
We started things off on Friday November 2nd, at the Village Idiot in Mamuee, OH opening the evening for our friends Treetown
Underground. This was our first time at the Village Idiot and it was a blast! Man, there is just something special about Ohio, they really
know how to show a band some love and the pizza was great. We hope to make it back soon!
About The Village Idiot:
The Village Idiot is probably one of the most diverse bars in the area where all kinds of people generally get along (for the most part.)
Politicians and felons have shared conversations—sometimes the felons are the politicians!
We are really starting to grow our music and are attracting some regional and national acts including Bobby Bare, Jr.. We also get to
host The Zen-Tricksters, Bump, Smokestack and Captain Soularcat. Also, The Soledad Brothers kicked of their tour at The Idiot.
(Rolling Stone Magazine named them among the top ten new bands of the 90's!)

On Thursday November 15th we head out to Auburn Hills, MI to, what's becoming one of our favorite bars, The Red Ox Tavern. I can't
stress how nice this place is. The Red Ox Tavern it's one of the classiest joints that we have ever had the pleasure to perform. Great
food and drinks. It's located right across the street from Oakland University on E. Walton Blvd.

It's time to mark your calendars folks! On Friday December 28th we pack up and head to Detroit, MI to perform at The Magic Stick.
This time around, we're opening for the Samich favorite, EKOOSTIK HOOKAH! If you know us, then you know that we have been fans of
these guys for a long time. This is a huge honor for us and we hope that you all come out for this very special evening. Details for this
show will be available soon at our website and our myspace page, so keep your eyes open for the details.
As with any of our shows Michigan's more reputable venues, we encourage that you purchase your tickets from the bands instead of, at
the door. It really helps make the band look good with the venues management.
